Breeding Record

Polly's dad is CH. LITTLEPONDS CHIEF, who entered the BCA Hall of Fame as a top producing stud in 1999.  He has won the stud dog class at the Nationals and received the Nationals Award of Merit, as well as multiple Specialty Best of Breeds.  His pups are consistently finishing with multiple specialty majors – including specialty Best of Breeds from the classes.  His grandparents, Sage and Gawain, were Best of Opposite Sex  and Best of Breed at the nationals, respectively.  Gawain is a Beckett Award winner and has produced over 75 champions, Titus is the top producing stud in history, Falon is a Beckett Award winner, and Sage is also in the BCA Hall of Fame as a brood bitch.  Two of Sage’s littermates are also in the Hall of Fame as top producers.

Polly's mom is CH. RESOLUTE SONRISE RISIN' STAR ("Holly").  Holly took her first major at the Bulldog Club of New England specialty under Liz Karshner, then took the summer off.  She came to us in August to get ready for the Nationals, and finished her championship in three weeks flat.  She made the final cut each day at the 1997 Nationals and has several specialty Best of Opposite Sex since then.  Holly has four champion produce.  Ch. Sonrise Resolute Hollyscomet finished from her first litter. Three finished from her second litter; we kept two (Ch. Resolute Sonrise Polaris and Ch. Resolute Sonrise Paladin). and the third is Ch. Sonrise Red Maple Starlite.

Polly was bred twice.  Her first breeding was a line breeding on her dam's side of the pedigree using frozen semen from Ch. Deydel Steadfast Hercules, our foundation stud.  She produced two puppies, Resolute Here Comes the Son ("Junior") and Resolute Wish Upon A Star ("Star").  Junior was not shown until he was about two.  He first win was Winner's Dog from the Bred-by class at the BCNJ Specialty under Doris Boyd for four points.

Her second breeding was a line breeding on her sire's side of the pedigree to a half-brother, Ch. Helfyre's Warmvalley Six Spence ("Spencer).  This produced three show puppies, Resolute Pollyanna, Resolute Hummer and Resolute Twinkletoes.  Resolute Pollyanna took her first wins on the Boston weekend, with two majors under breeder judges Ann Hubbard and Marilyn Dundas.
